Group Meditation and Learning Deep Relaxation
The benefits of regular relaxation and meditation practice helps to keep the mind focused in times of high stress. Learning to relax is a skill involving highly focused attentional control, which takes practice in order to develop the skill. This workshop is designed to help people train their attentional ‘fitness’ with a relaxation routine which can be practiced at any time and any place. During the workshop, participants will undergo a guided deep relaxation exercise to learn the ‘how to’ skills of meditation and relaxation, along with a discussion and seminar on the processes that are involved.
