Coaching Psychology

Coaching is the process of discovering how you can achieve your personal best. It's about developing goals that you want, getting a clear vision of that goal, and putting strategies in place to get there. The essence of enVision coaching, is to get a clear mental picture of your goals and then go for it!

How will coaching work for me?

Coaching is a form of personal development. With each session, you are pro-actively enhancing the way you live your life. With this, a sense of confidence, heightened self esteem and improved mood will result. And it's not always about the end point. The learning and personal development along the way will help to broaden your perspective on many areas of life and give you courage to pursue much more, long after your coaching sessions end. The sky's the limit!

What’s involved?

One hour of your time per week (or fortnight) is allocated to coaching sessions. During this time, you and your coach actively work on the process of achieving your goals. This involves learning new skills, reflecting on your progress, checking in to see if you are on track with your strategies, overcoming dilemmas and obstacles, and keep you afloat through those challenging moments.

Your first session with your life coach is usually a little longer (1.5 hours). You will engage in an initial interview to assess your current situation and develop 3 concrete goals that you feel will achieve the life you want to live. Following this, sessions will focus on the strategies and actions to keep you on track with your goals. There is no obligation to continue the coaching process once it has begun. It’s your choice to decide when to stop.

The Role of the Coach

Obtaining your goals will be a challenge. Your life coach provides you with the tools to keep you on track in achieving your goals, just like a personal trainer. They motivate you, guide you with effective strategies and provide you with support.
